Leslie Barkley
I’ve known Leslie for most of my career, working together in more than one industry. We first crossed paths at Amendment I - me as Circulation Director for Loudoun Magazine, and Leslie running Classifieds for Loudoun Now. Years later, we worked alongside a small group of senior operators from some of the best-run high-end restaurants between Washington, DC and Boston, including Erik Larson, my the next reference.
Leslie is currently the Director of Operations for Eddie V's & The Capital Grille in Plano, TX.
Erik Larson
Leaving Publishing to build my business, I maintained a role in Hospitality Management until the work could stand on its own. That led me to Erik and the leadership group Leslie and I worked with. During that time, I completed mural projects for several restaurants, leading to commissions allowing me full focus on my business. When I later returned home after several years in Texas, a role at The Palm was waiting.
Erik is currently the Director of Operations for The Palm, DC Metro Region.
Adhem Ibrahim
Adhem was my Regional Manager when I ran the Arlington studio for Muse. He had the creative and operational sides of the business down, and took the time to share that knowledge. Not long after I took over the Gainesville studio, he became the first artist in company history to be promoted to Regional Manager. Working together, Arlington became one of Muse’s strongest studios, in the highest performing region.
Adhem is currently a Film Producer at Immersive Productions in D.C.
